Our Secure Data Destruction Services keep your data secure until it is destroyed in a manner that complies with the Data Protection Act & the WEEE Directive.

Old, retired Servers are a prime source of confidential data for identity thieves as you will know if you have watched the news on TV over the last year. Getting rid of an old server or upgrading the storage components is not a simple matter when you have legal responsibilities to live up to.

Under the Data Protection Act Regulations 1998 Organizations must destroy any data containing personal information under secure conditions.

Any individual who suffers damage because of a contravention by the data controller is entitled to compensation for that damage. Contravening the Data Protection Act is a criminal offence carrying a significant fine.

Helping you sleep at night

We can take some of the burden of responsibility off your shoulders by completely destroying any hard drives that are replaced as part of our Maintenance Contracts.

What Actually Happens?

The picture on the right shows what is left when a Hard Drive is destroyed using our Secure Data Destruction Services. You are welcome to try and get data back from one of these drives if you wish.

Proving it

As well as destroying the Hard Drive in the event of a hardware failure we will provide a certificate of data destruction so that you can prove that the Hard Drive was destroyed if you should need to.
